Each step comes from LG's own guidance for PF on its dishwashers. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit. 01 After a local outage, press any button and allow about 10 seconds for the display to clear. 02 Make sure the dishwasher is on its own 15-amp, 120-volt grounded circuit with no extension cord. 03 If PF keeps showing without any outage, book a visit. ### Cleared? No part needed replacing. If the next full cycle still stops partway or leaves water in the tub, treat that as a new problem. ### What not to do Do not plug the dishwasher into an extension cord to move it to another outlet. After a local outage, press any button and allow about 10 seconds for the display to clear. ### Why does my LG show PF after the lights flickered? PF is LG's way of flagging that power was cut or dipped, and it protects the machine after an outage. Pressing any button and waiting roughly ten seconds normally clears it. ### My LG shows PF with no power outage; what could it be? An undersized circuit or an extension cord can cause repeat PF codes, and LG does not allow an extension cord for this machine.
