Can I clear LC myself?
Close the valve feeding the Samsung dishwasher. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Why does my Samsung stay on and refuse to power down with LC?
That is intentional: during an LC event the dishwasher switches itself on and keeps its drain pump working to clear moisture from the base. Shutting off the water valve helps, while cutting power over and over works against it.
Could a tall pan in the rack be behind LC on a Samsung Waterwall?
On Waterwall machines Samsung adds a blocked reflector to the list of causes, and a tall item standing in front of it can do exactly that. Move anything that obstructs it, and if LC remains once the base has dried, book a visit.
