E1 means the ZLINE dishwasher took too long to fill. On the Classic models the flow meter saw no water within four minutes of the fill step starting.

Check that the faucet or valve feeding the dishwasher is open.
Look for a kinked or restricted supply hose.
ZLINE gives 20 to 145 PSI as the pressure range; very low house pressure can trigger E1.
Book a visit if supply and pressure are fine; the inlet valve, flow meter and pressure switch are next.

E1 on a ZLINE is a fill timeout, not a leak alarm. The leak code on these models is E4.
