What E24
actually means.
E24 says water is not leaving the dishwasher the way it should. Bosch points first at a jammed or loosely fitted drain pump cover, then at a kinked drain hose, then at debris in the air gap or the hose.

Switch the dishwasher off, take out the filter and scoop out the standing water.
Remove the drain pump cover, clear anything caught behind it, and press it back until it clicks.
Check the drain hose under the sink for a kink or a sharp bend, and clean the air gap if there is one.
If E24 is back after a rinse cycle, book a visit so the pump and the drain path can be tested.

A kinked hose or a blocked air gap is plumbing rather than a broken dishwasher, so E24 often clears without any part.
