What F11
actually means.
F11 means the dishwasher could not pump its water out and water is left in the tub. On the G 1000 to G 6000 series Miele names two causes: the non-return valve over the drain pump is seated wrongly, or the drain pump is blocked.

Water did not leave the tub in the time the control expects. A clogged filter, a kinked hose or a blocked disposal inlet are ruled out before the drain pump.

Each step comes from Miele's own guidance for F11 on its dishwashers. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.
Switch off and unplug the machine, take out the filter combination and scoop out the water.
Release the non-return valve, rinse it, and turn the pump impeller by hand to feel for anything stuck; watch for glass splinters.
Refit the valve flush with its edge so the catch engages, lay the filters back flat, and run the program again.
If the water still stays in the tub, book a visit.
