Check the drain hose for kinks and for buildup that narrows it.
On a new install or a new disposal, confirm the knockout plug in the disposal inlet was removed.
Clean the filter in the tub floor, then run a new cycle; book a visit if OE is still there.
What not to do
Do not blame the pump when OE shows on the very first cycle. LG ties that case to the drain hose install — kinked, too high or too long.
